Client: Landscape architect

Steven Kahn , a 36 years old landscape architect, has been working in the architectural field after his graduation from master architectural in London. Due to his personality of introversion, quiet, self-reflective, insatiable desire in art and creativity plus the influence of his grandfather, a registered architect in British, he stepped on the route of becoming an architect. He enjoyed being an architect as he found achievement and happiness. Besides, he discovered that the characteristic of spending more time concentrating on internal thoughts than speaking and being more likely to try and figure things out for himself than to ask for help; which suited to be an architect. Although which limited him from getting know more friends, he had to accumulate friends and develop his social network through years of life experiences. He tends to expend more energy on those relationships.

His wife, Jen Carey, met him in the firm they working together before. They had got married after few years of dating. Jen joined Steven’s own firm after her success of being a registered architect. They are a loving couple. Steven cherishes much the relationship with Jen; he respects and takes care of her as much as he can. Even though they are both architect, working with a tight schedule under pressure, they will still be willing to squeeze time to spend with each other. And they manage their time effectively. Since they value the importance of striking a balance between work and life, they both have a variety of hobbies for relaxation. Steven loves photo shooting, playing golf, tennis and making models. Jen loves cooking, playing yoga, painting. Travelling is their common favorite things they enjoyed as they both love to discover different people’s life and enrich the inspiration of design by visiting different countries around the world. This resulted in a room of souvenir or gadgets from those trips!!

Being an architect has to have an unending thirst for knowledge, and the ability to extract from the customer and even the city. They have to read and communicate with others as they are modeling human behavior. Consolidating the knowledge through communication by different senses, experiencing different lifes, equipping ourselves with latest technology resulted in success of Steven’s and Jen’s career. Apart from building their career path, they would like to build up their family life. They decided to have a baby as they both have a consensus to engage a complete family. It could be a new challenge for them. However, they are pleased and looking forward to take the challenge as they are adaptable as how they used to be from their work. They are going to build a new ‘home’ for themselves and their family.
